Fanatec has officially unveiled its new Podium Wheelbase and Pedals at the Sim Racing Expo, marking one of the most anticipated hardware launches in recent years. The Podium wheelbase retains the familiar ClubSport design language but adds premium touches, including engraved Fanatec branding, a distinctive gold loop on the rear, and an impressive 25Nm of holding torque with peaks up to 33Nm. It appears to include a shaft extender, supports TrueForce technology, and while pricing and the exact release date remain unconfirmed, it’s shaping up to be a flagship contender in the direct-drive market.

The newly revealed Podium pedals are constructed from forged aluminum, with a 200kg load cell brake featuring an elastomer compression system for consistent pedal feel over time. The clutch includes a quick-adjustment slider for tuning pedal resistance, and users can choose between GT and Formula configurations, with the Formula variant offering carbon fiber footplates. Pricing has yet to be announced, but Fanatec has confirmed a Q1 2026 release window.

For anyone serious about sim racing, this means worth watching—it may set a new benchmark in the market. Pricing and console-compatibility remain key unknowns, so interested buyers should stay tuned for further updates.
