I recently upgraded my sim racing setup with the 42” LG OLED evo C3, and it's been a game-changer. Unlike the displays I've used before, this TV boasts gaming-centric features such as a 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and Nvidia G-Sync, all complemented by a stunning 4K OLED display. To fully leverage the capabilities of these TVs, a high-powered PC and compatible HDMI cables are essential for running 4K at 120Hz. After completing the setup, the transformation of my on-track experience was remarkable. The OLED display's top-notch quality allows me to perceive vibrant and accurate colors with 100% color fidelity, making the brightest and darkest parts of the track distinctly visible. The 120Hz refresh rate enhances the visual smoothness, ideal for any gaming genre.
Assembling three of these screens, I was amazed by their ultra-thin bezels, creating an almost seamless image across all displays. This feature is particularly beneficial for sim racing, as it minimally disrupts the immersive experience on the track.
