Top 5 Assetto Corsa Rally Stages in 2024 (Download Links)

While it's fair to say that Assetto Corsa is far from a rally sim, its extensive modding community has developed a plethora of dirt rally tracks that are sure to provide you with hours of fun. Today, I will be showcasing 5 of my favorite Rally track mods in Assetto Corsa, and if you guys are interested in checking them out yourselves, download links for all five will be available. As always, sit back, relax, and let's get into it.

#5 Pine Ridge Rally

At number 5, we have Pine Ridge Rally. This stage takes you through a little over 8 kilometers of gravel roads through a forest, sure to keep you on your toes. Although the model of the roads has some rough visual edges, and the textures can be slightly lower quality, it is still a pleasure to drive on and will keep you entertained while trying to improve your times. Lots of details are added around the track, like cameramen and vans, as well as the typical scenery of logs, houses, flags, etc. Made by ultranew_b and released in 2016, the age of this mod does start to show a bit, but it is still more than worth your time. Overall, Pine Ridge rally doesn’t look very refined but its various jumps, kerbs, and difficulty of the terrain has made it a thrill time and time again.

#4 Rally Poland

Moving onto fourth place in my list we have the Rally Poland map. Made by SimTraxx, Rally Poland is a slightly shorter stage at around 4 and a half kilometers. It takes you through trees and some plains, all while following a gravel road. In terms of quality, this track is similar to the last entry, with rigid edges and an unrefined visual look. Thankfully, when flying past at high speeds that’s really the last thing you care about as this maps challenging turns and changes in terrain will present a bigger problem. This stage has several long straights, where your speed is only limited by your own courage but definitely don’t get too ahead of yourself, the narrowness and lack of runoff is unforgiving. Overall, Rally Poland is a lot of fun to throw your car around, and I would definitely recommend trying it.

#3 Pine Ridge Rally

Now moving on to number 3 is the only snow map on this list, the Alpine Rally. Made by fredfred, this stage is a scratch-made fantasy track based in Canada. It's made out of nearly 8 km of snowy Alpine roads and has a distinctly unique look. The scenery on this map is absolutely beautiful, with mountains in the background, as well as your usual set of houses, fences, vans, and marshals. The road is very windy, but the textures are smooth and of great quality. The driving characteristics of this surface also present a very unique yet challenging experience, something I’m yet to master. The transitions from surface to surface have a real feeling to them, with the car behaving as you would expect across different road surfaces and textures. All of this is especially impressive considering this mod is from 2015! Overall, the experience of driving the Alpine rally is a great one, and is sure to provide you with a proper rally experience that will keep you on your toes.

#2 Porto-Piana

Moving on to the runner-up on this list we get to Porto-Piana. This is a tarmac stage, and a long one at that. At 10km, this is the longest map on this list taking several minutes to fully complete. It provides a proper mix of straights and tight, windy turns, all whilst having great scenery. With some of the sections being as slow as they are, this track feels like it can go on forever, which is not a bad thing. The only thing holding this track back from #1 on this list is sadly again the textures, especially of the scenery in the distance. The mountains and rocks around the track really do look way too angular, which is a shame considering how nice the track could be if they were better. The creator, JCRR, based this map on a real road in Corsica, and for what it is, it is very accurate. Overall this track is unique in its length, scenery, and vast mix in long straights and tightly winding roads. All of this leads to several minutes of varying driving styles with great views all around.

#1 Forest Rally

And finally, at number one, we have the Forest Rally. Another mod made by ultranew_b, this mod consists of 2 maps, which are 2 separate stages, of very high quality. These stages take you through a dense forest, with tight turns and some crazy jumps. All of the textures and roads look and feel great, and the stages feel super engaging. The tracks have full trackside camera coverage, and even AI works on these tracks for added fun. One of my favorite aspects of this track is how gloomy it is with bits of sunshine peeking in through the cracks in the trees, leading to a very immersive and unique feel. Overall the stages in Forest Rally are a joy to drive, and as the reviews on Racedepartment confirm, this mod really is the best rally stage on Assetto Corsa.

To conclude, Assetto Corsa can definitely offer you a proper rally experience. With apps like CoDriver and high quality cars, it is seriously good and can be a great addition to your AC library.
